“Welcome to my house! Enter freely. Go safely, and leave something of the happiness you bring!”

Eyes of the Vampire by Don Alan Smith

For the better part of three months now, I have been working to finish several projects and meet many different obligations – professional and personal. Today, I am happy to announce that I’ve finished the last of these. This final project is currently at a stage where I can begin to focus my time and energy on a manuscript which I hope will become my third book.

Because of this, I want to announce that for the foreseeable future, I will not be taking on any new interviews, reviews, articles and scripts. There may be the occasion where I bend this rule (especially should I be able to interview any of the fine men who played a certain Time Lord), but I will continue to maintain my presence and participation in the handful of projects I have moving forward at this moment.

You guys know who you are and I thank you for your hard work!

And to the many friends who have I have hashed and re-hashed the idea of this third book, I want to say thank you for your patience and friendship – especially to my wife, Laura, who keeps getting more amazing everyday.

I just ask for two things – your prayers (especially for my brother-in-law Michael and his wife Kristen who are expecting their first son and for Janine and Ken Frederick who are expecting their first daughter) and continued patience and friendship.

With my focus set, and a spirit of determination, I must take a trip that (has been on my mind since 2011) and head down the Lost Highway. A certain vampire needs my attention…

…at long last.

NOTE: The title of this post is taken from DRACULA.
